If you want to be a master at selling, you have to love people! I am not talking about the fake smiles air hostesses give. I am talking about genuinely loving people! You need to be interested in people, to know more about them, listen to their stories, understand their background. If this fascinates you, then becoming a champion salesperson is very easy! Remember, people buy from people who they like and trust!
The reason most of us find it difficult to sell is that we don’t find ourselves comfortable with people. Right from our childhood we were taught to not speak to strangers. Now you know where all this is coming from!
It’s not too late. Take a liking to people. Sales can take a backseat.
Guess what – the moment you show genuine interest in people, sales will happen automatically!
