Invite your customer for discussion in a reasonably good environment & treat them as your best friend without much expectations. Only then business will follow!
2. Get personal!
Build a personal relationship with your prospect! Ask them about their background and family. Small talk leads to big talk which eventually leads to sales!
3. Be a connector!
Help the customer connect to people with whom he can do business. If need be, lead the first or second meeting. Sacrifice your time & priorities. This is true salesmanship.
4. Find out the common link!
Try to get someone who the customer knows & you too. It will immediately up your LF by 90% and it will be a great conversation starter!
